What is ZipLyft™?

ZipLyft™ is an upper eyelid lift that uses patented CoCo (Compression Contouring) technology to close the treatment area with gentle compression instead of sutures or cautery. Removing those two steps is what removes most of the bruising, bleeding, and recovery time that patients associate with traditional eyelid surgery.

The incision is hidden inside the natural crease of the upper lid. Your eyelids are numbed with local anesthetic, the excess skin is addressed, the CoCo device is placed, and you walk out the same visit — usually in less than fifteen minutes, with no suture-removal appointment to come back for.

ZipLyft™ was developed by fellowship-trained oculoplastic surgeons and is FDA-cleared. At Your New Looks it is performed by Dr. Ayoub Sayeg, MD, who brings more than 25 years of surgical experience to every eyelid he treats.

01

CoCo™ technology

Compression closes the eyelid instead of stitches or cautery — the reason bleeding and bruising stay minimal.

02

Fifteen minutes

No hospital admission, no operating-room time, no IV sedation, and no pre-op fasting protocol.

03

Natural, symmetric

Rested and refreshed rather than done. People notice you look well — not that you had something done.

04

No return visit

Because nothing is stitched, there is no suture-removal appointment on your calendar afterward.

Your ZipLyft™ experience

Consultation

Dr. Sayeg examines your eyelid anatomy and skin laxity, listens to what bothers you, and confirms in one visit whether ZipLyft™ is the right approach.

The day of

Your eyelids are numbed with local anesthetic. The incision follows your natural lid crease, the CoCo device is placed, and you are finished in under fifteen minutes.

Days one to three

Expect mild swelling and, for most patients, only light bruising. You recover comfortably at home. Nothing needs to be removed.

The weeks after

Most patients feel camera-ready within days and continue to see the result refine as the eyelid settles over the following weeks.

Candidacy

Is ZipLyft™ right for you?

ZipLyft™ treats excess upper eyelid skin — the condition called dermatochalasis — that makes the eyes look tired, hooded, or heavier than you feel. It tends to suit patients who want that corrected without arranging time away from work and social life.

If your eyelid margin itself sits low, that is ptosis, and it needs a different repair. Puffiness from excess fat can often be addressed at the same visit when it is contributing to the problem. Your consultation sorts out which of these you actually have, and Dr. Sayeg will tell you honestly if a traditional blepharoplasty would serve you better.

ZipLyft™ is often a good fit if you:

  • Have hooded or heavy upper eyelid skin
  • Look tired even when you are well rested
  • Find eyeshadow or liner harder to apply
  • Want to avoid general anesthesia
  • Cannot take two to four weeks of downtime
  • Prefer a subtle, natural refresh
  • Have an event or trip coming up
  • Have been putting eyelid surgery off

Common ZipLyft™ questions

Am I a good candidate for ZipLyft™?

If excess skin on your upper lids is making your eyes look tired or heavy, you are likely a candidate. At your consultation we evaluate your eyelid anatomy, skin laxity, and goals, then confirm whether ZipLyft™ will give you the result you are after.

Does it hurt?

The procedure is done under local anesthesia, the same kind used for a dental filling. Patients consistently report very little discomfort and are surprised by how quick and undramatic the appointment is.

How long do the results last?

Results are long-lasting. Removing excess upper eyelid skin gives a durable improvement, and while natural aging continues, most patients enjoy a refreshed appearance for many years — comparable to what traditional upper blepharoplasty delivers.

Can ZipLyft™ fix a drooping eyelid?

ZipLyft™ is designed for excess upper eyelid skin (dermatochalasis). If the eyelid margin itself is drooping, that is ptosis, and it calls for a different procedure. We examine you carefully to identify which condition — or combination — you have, and recommend the treatment that will give the best outcome.

Can fat be removed at the same time?

Yes. When excess fat is contributing to puffy upper lids, it can be reduced or reshaped through a very small opening during your ZipLyft™ appointment for a smoother, more natural contour.

Will I have a visible scar?

The incision is placed inside the natural crease of the upper eyelid, so it is difficult to see once healed. The line continues to fade as the area recovers and typically blends into the eyelid fold.

When can I go back to work?

Because there is no sedation and no sutures, many patients return to normal routines within a few days. We will give you specific guidance based on your job, your activity level, and how you heal.

What does ZipLyft™ cost?

Pricing depends on what your eyelids need, so we quote it at your consultation — which is free. Financing is available; you can review the options on our financing page.
